Who We Are

This is an Educultural Organization, founded by Yèyé Dr. Adéọlá Adijat Adéàbẹ̀kẹ́ Fálẹ́yẹ as the Chairperson and Chief Executive Director of the Board of Trustees. The Organization is founded precisely in commemoration of the 50th Golden Celebrationof the Chairperson, the Founder – Yèyé Adéọlá Adijat Adéàbẹ̀kẹ́ Fálẹ́yẹ in October 2018. Adéàbẹ̀kẹ́ Fábọ́lá EduCultural Organization comprises of different Professionals in their own right with large hearts towards educating, and empowering the youths around them. As a long nursed and nurtured ideology of the founder, over fifteen years ahead the institutionalization of the Organization- to positively impact in the lives of the youths and semi-aged single parents around her, the official inauguration of the BOT members and launching of the NGO namely Adéàbẹ̀kẹ́ Fábọ́lá EduCultural Organization came to existence as a properly registered Organization under the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja Nigeria. The Center is built on the notion to value the roles of “Mothers and Motherhood” and with reference to keep the date -10th of October- yearly, at heart, as a period to absorb new intakes of individuals or group of persons into the Organization, towards empowering and encouraging them to grow indigenously academically, culturally foregrounded and to be national in outlook. Adéàbẹ̀kẹ́ Fábọ́lá EduCultural Organization holds strongly the focus to promoting Yorùbá Language, Culture, Oratorial Performances, Theatrical Works, Creative Writing Skill; among other things. As parts of the major objectives and aims of the Organization is to assist in re-orientating and sensitizing the minds of the community youths of Ìlá- Ọ̀ràngún and the generality of South Western Yorùbá States in Nigeria. While part of the central focus is to promote the Yorùbá cultural heritage, knowledge of herbs, hand-crafts and values within the culture, as enshrined in the various spheres of Ọmọlúàbí concepts, which are almost going into extinction; the Organization shall be concerned with sourcing for indigent youths, adult-alike, single-parents and widows whom are culturally deprived, or retarded in form or the other to empower them.

Age Bracket

The training of the focused youths of the Organization is within the categories of age seven (7 and15) and fifteen, (15 and 25) fifteen and twenty-five years, aged-single parents and widows within the age of (25 and 45) twenty-five and forty-five. It is important to also note that the Organization shall engage the beneficiaries at large for training, documentaries and empowering them by showcasing them in public event performances, while providing room for a responsive “Give Back” to the society afterwards. In the view of the BOT of the Organization, the focus to resuscitate our values, ethics and mores is paramount. Therefore, in our bid to assisting the youths, and such adults within these categories of choice of beneficiaries of the Organization, we are charged to rise to the need to empower them while sourcing for help through our connections. To have a long-lasting effects of the trainings required by the current generation of youths for positive change, on the society at large; and the unborn generation in shaping their lives for better outlook towards promoting our heritage, we belief that we have roles to play. Therefore, in the spirit of assisting the beneficiaries within the Organization, and our little resources,with the current physical building located put up by the Founder of Adéàbẹ̀kẹ́ Fábọ́lá EduCultural Organization the at Ìlá-Ọ̀ràngún community for the take-off of the Organization activities, while the long-term building is in view, and also exploring a bigger apartment for the long-term extension of the Organization.

Funding

Adéàbẹ̀kẹ́ Fábọ́lá EduCultural Organization is a non-profit and non-political Organization. Therefore, our source of funding is basically through sourcing for funds and assistance received from individuals, group of philanthropists and Corporate Companies, towards lifting the challenges of financing their constant trainings, educational-matters, documentations and up-keep of the indigent students, women and men alike.
